Feb. 1992: Foundation of the development company Zweibrücken limited company (EFZG) with the county and the association (ZEF) as proprietors

29.09.1992: Operating Licence for the commecial airport is issued

28.05.1994: Landing of the first civillian flight in Zweibrücken

02.09.1994: Official commissioning of the commercial airport. Approval granted for daytime VFR flights between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.
